GOTHENBURG: Anodox is delighted to have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with EV Engineering Sweden AB (EVES) regarding business development and shared capabilities.

EVES is a boutique workshop specialising in parts, kits, turnkey projects & consulting for one-off, niche and mainstream electric vehicles.

The agreement follows on from extensive talks held between the two firms around the e-car Expo in December 2021, where EVES showcased an eye-catching electric conversion of a 1964 Chevrolet Impala.

The alliance will be a significant contributor to Anodox’s accelerated growth and will involve:
  • Supply of energy systems to EV conversion projects
  • Co-operation on niche OEM projects (e.g. trucks, city cars, RVs and hyper-cars)
  • Shared capabilities around high voltage engineering
The newly signed agreement covers product distribution, bespoke engineering projects and shared facilities. The two companies have started several projects to enhance their capabilities and to develop commercial opportunities together.

To further formalise the relationship, the Parties have entered into an MOU setting out reseller terms, ways of working and the proposed deliverables. Areas of focus include digital twinning, BMS and V2H concepts. Projects will be underpinned by joint design and engineering with technologies such as cell to pack, immersion cooling, electric conversion systems and CHAdeMO.

Completion of the arrangements is subject to the Parties entering into definitive agreements. Further announcements will be made as appropriate.

Theo Zannakis, founder and CEO of Anodox commented:

The mutually beneficial partnership between EVES and Anodox will see both firms exchange experience and relationships. Our common goal is speeding up electrification in niche automotive and to improve our market performance in key areas.

Martin Söderlind, founder and CEO of EVES said:

EVES and Anodox are committed to electrifying the roads. Combining Anodox’s global reach with hands-on expertise from EVES means that electric vehicle engineering excellence will be available to even more projects.
